Solve the system of linear equations by graphing. x−y=7, 0.5x+y=5

You can use elimination

x - y = 7

0.5x + y = 5

1.5x = 12

x = 8

Then plug in x into one of the original equations

8 - y = 7

y = 1

Solution is (8,1)
