Why is CF4 a non polar molecule, even though it contains polar bonds?

The molecule is symmetric, a tetrahedron. Thus, the 4 polar bonds cancel each other out. (It is easier to see with a one dimensional molecule like CO2, which is linear with the C in the middle. The 2 polar bonds cancel each other.
