15 to the second power = 15 * 15
15 * 15 = 255
15 to the second power = 255

15 to the second power means that you multiply 15x15 two times because it says to the SECOND power so it is 2 times if it said 15 to the third power mean that you multiply 15x15x15 because it said to the THIRD power I hope I helped
