Id say a bit of both. If I had to chose it would be mutualism. In my mind there is more mutual bacteria that actually help the human body more than “parasite” bacteria. There are obviously many bad bacteria but those are outnumbered tremendously compared to safe bacteria. Trust me, one of my friends hasn’t washed his hands for 2 months. Hasn’t gotten sick yet :)
