How to solve 11(k-1)=7(k-9) in a shorter and easier way????

11(k+-1)=7(k+-9)

11k+-11=7k+-63

-7k           -7k

4k+-11=-63

      +11    +11

4÷4k=52÷4

k=13              that's how I would do it.
