[tex]\sqrt{x}[/tex] = [tex]\sqrt{x+1}[/tex] has no real roots.

[tex]\sqrt{x}[/tex] = [tex]\sqrt{x+1}[/tex]

squaring both the sides

x = x+1

0 = 1

which is not true

hence false.

Therefore, no real roots.
