Let, width is smaller and equals to = x
Length = x + 1

p = 2(l + w)
30 = 2(x+1 + x)
30 = 2(2x+1)
30 = 4x + 2
4x = 30 - 2
x = 28 / 4
x = 7

In short, Your Answer would be 7 or 8 Feet

Hope this helps!
