What is the solution to this system of linear equations?

x − 3y = −2

x + 3y = 16

(7, 3)
(3, 7)
(−2, −3)
(−3, −2)

The answer is (7,3).

7 = x , 3 = y

If you plug those into the equation it is a solution

7 - 3(3) = -2
7-9=-2

7 + 3(3) = 16
7+9 = 16
