A small 18 kilogram canoe is floating downriver at a speed of 3 m/s. What is the canoe's kinetic energy?

K= (1/2)mv² where m= mass, v= speed of object.
There fore kinetic energy should be 1/2* 18* 3² = 81 kgm²/s²
