x-------> the number

we know that

Twice a number (x) is less than [tex] 10 [/tex]

so

[tex] 2x < 10\\\\ x < \frac{10}{2} \\\\x < 5 [/tex]

the solution is the interval ------> (-∞,5)

therefore

the answer is
